You and your comrades huddle in fear before the Wizard’s large, floating head. His voice echoes loudly through the throne room. “WHY ARE YOU HERE?”

The Scarecrow stumbles forward, shaking so hard that some of his stuffing spills onto the palace floor. “I am only a scarecrow, stuffed with straw. I have no brains, and I’ve come to ask you to put brains in my head so I can make good decisions!”

The Tin Woodsman takes a brave step of his own, his metal boots clanging on the tile. “I am a Woodsman, made of tin. Therefore I have no heart, and cannot love. I pray you to give me a heart, that I may care about things that matter.”

With a low whine, the Cowardly Lion reluctantly approaches the Wizard, bowing as deeply as he can. “I am a Cowardly Lion, afraid of everything. I came to beg you to give me courage, so that I may become the King of Beasts.”

The giant, glowing face of the great and terrible Oz turns last to you. “I KNOW WHAT YOU SEEK. YOU WISH TO RETURN TO KANSAS.” He pauses a moment, as if in thought, then continues.

“I SHALL GRANT ALL YOUR REQUESTS IF YOU WILL DO A LITTLE JOB FOR ME. IT’S NOTHING, REALLY. A TEENSY-WEENSY LITTLE FAVOR. DESTROY THE MOST POWERFUL WITCH IN OZ — THE WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST.”
